I think you are right that we should also have a place for
motorsports.
If there are proper place, the safety aspect will be taken care
of.
All street racers etc will make sure that they wear helmet, use the
proper bucket seats meant for motorsports, proper struts, clothings
etc. This way, motorsports are safe. Otherwise, if there are no
proper place, Singaporeans will drive to Malaysia and spend
there.
Likewise, those people who have already modified their cars will
try on public roads which are more dangerous.
Like legalised prostitution in Geylang. At least safety checks,
health checks etc are done and taxes are paid and collected.
Otherwise, non legal activities in other locations, more health
hazards and problems. Also there are many foreign talents coming
which we do not know, whom solicit their business in pubs or public
areas and never tax them before they leave .
